DRIVER / ASSEMBLY MANAGER
The Driver/Assembly Manager is responsible for transporting garments and other items between our outside store locations and the main plant, while also overseeing workflow to ensure timely completion of orders. This role directly supports our same‑day service goals, maintains smooth production flow, and upholds Jaguar Cleaners’ standards for quality and customer satisfaction.
This position requires reliability, strong attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate tasks efficiently while on the move.
Key Responsibilities
Pickup & Delivery
Pick up garments and other items from designated outside store locations.
Transport all items safely to the main plant for cleaning and finishing.
Deliver completed garments back to the originating store locations.
Maintain accurate logs of pickups, deliveries, and special‑care items.
Assembly & Workflow Oversight
Monitor production progress during delivery runs to ensure items are moving through each department on schedule.
Communicate with plant staff to confirm priority items are being processed promptly.
Ensure garments are assembled correctly, matched to the proper orders, and prepared for delivery.
Identify delays or workflow issues and notify management as needed.
Quality & Efficiency
Verify that finished garments meet Jaguar Cleaners’ quality standards before delivery.
Assist with organizing and staging outgoing orders for accuracy and efficiency.
Support the team in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to lift, carry, and transport bags or bundles of garments.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with time‑sensitive deadlines.
Friendly, professional demeanor when interacting with store staff and team members.
Basic understanding of workplace safety practices.
Preferred Skills (Not Required)
Experience in delivery, logistics, or route driving.
Familiarity with garment care or dry cleaning operations.
Ability to identify workflow issues and assist in problem‑solving.
Performance‑Based Pay Opportunities
Demonstrated efficiency in route management and workflow oversight may result in immediate pay increases.
Additional responsibilities or mastery of assembly processes may also qualify for additional pay adjustments.
